Payroll Assistant (Temporary 11 Months)

This is a temporary position for 11 months.

 

Our Payroll Clerk/Assistant supports the Payroll Controllers collecting the employee information and working hours from the Timekeeper System daily, preparing hours reports, and maintaining accurate payroll hours records. Document and manage with the approving users the correct management of the tool.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Support in the weekly pre-payroll, on-cycle payroll, off-cycle payroll processes.
  • Be risk aware and help identify, report, mitigate and track risks in the payroll delivery process.
  • Support employee/manager queries when the Payroll Controller don’t be present, only in weekly payroll process.
  • Maintaining accurate records of payroll documentation and transactions.
  • Supporting for all Coloplast in the weekly payroll process.
  • Managing electronic timekeeping systems (Kronos) or manually collecting and reviewing timesheets.
  • Providing administrative assistance according to timekeeper to the Payroll Controller.
  • Performing their job in compliance with the guidelines given
  • Drawing attention to the payroll controller/manager to any difficulties in understanding or following the guidelines
  • Drawing attention to inefficiency of the system

 

Essential Qualifications:

  • High School Bachelors degree with a Technical Degree in Accounting, Business Administration or other
  • 2+ years of experience working in payroll processes.
  • Working knowledge of relevant legal regulations and labor legislation.
  • Experience working with different shifts payments.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and payroll software programs. (hacer la prueba de Excel)
  • Proficiency in Time Keeping Systems (Kronos)
  • Intermediate English Level, at least B1.

 

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong numerical and analytical aptitude and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Good time management and organizational skills.
  • Able to prioritize and multitask effectively.
  • High degree of personal ownership on all areas of own responsibilities.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.
  • High level of integrity.
