The role:

As HR Business Partner, you will partner with business leaders to align people strategies with organizational priorities. Acting as a trusted advisor, you will support leadership effectiveness, workforce planning, talent management, employee relations, organizational development, and change initiatives. This role combines strategic HR partnership with hands-on guidance to help drive business performance, employee engagement, and a positive workplace culture.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary People & Culture advisor to leaders, providing guidance on organizational effectiveness, workforce planning, leadership development, and people-related business decisions.
  • Coach managers on performance management, employee relations, attendance, conflict resolution, and other complex employee matters.
  • Partner with leaders to identify talent needs, succession plans, development opportunities, and retention strategies.
  • Support performance and talent management processes, including calibration discussions and development planning.
  • Advise leaders on compensation, recognition, and workforce-related decisions within company frameworks
  • Drive employee engagement, wellbeing, inclusion, and culture initiatives that support organizational goals.
  • Provide change management support during organizational transformations and business initiatives.
  • Analyze people data and trends to identify risks, provide insights, and recommend actions to leadership.
  • Collaborate with Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, Reward, Legal, Finance, and global HR teams to deliver integrated people solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with employment practices, company policies, and HR governance standards.

 

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field. Advanced studies are a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience, including HR Business Partnering, Employee Relations, Talent Management, or Organizational Development.
  • Proven experience advising leaders and managing complex employee and organizational matters.
  • Strong knowledge of performance management, talent development, workforce planning, change management, employee engagement, and compensation principles.
  • Solid understanding of Costa Rican labor practices and employment regulations.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret people data and translate insights into business actions.
  • Professional proficiency in English and Spanish.
  • Experience with SuccessFactors or similar HR systems and strong Microsoft Office skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multinational and fast-paced environment.
