Senior Compliance Manager F/H

 

As part of a replacement following retirement, we are strengthening our Group Business Ethics & Compliance organization and are looking for a Compliance Manager for France.

Acting as a true Business Partner to the French legal entities owned by Coloplast, a Danish leader in medical devices, you will play a key role in ensuring that business activities are conducted in full compliance with applicable laws, industry standards, and internal policies, while enabling sustainable business growth. You will work closely with our global compliance teams and internal stakeholders across all business units.

Under the supervision of the VP, Chief Compliance Officer, the Compliance Manager France operates in a highly regulated environment (medical device industry) and has the main responsibilities to:

• Act as a solution-oriented compliance business partner on topics related to business ethics, data privacy, and regulatory requirements, with a pragmatic and risk-based approach.
• Support and secure interactions with healthcare professionals, including contracts, sponsorships, educational grants, and events.
• Manage and oversee transparency reporting processes in France, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations.
• Conduct compliance auditing and monitoring activities and follow up on remediation plans.
• Handle privacy and security incident investigations and contribute to risk identification and mitigation.
• Deliver training and guidance to business teams and promote a strong culture of ethics and integrity across the organization.
• Collaborate with global compliance teams to deploy and continuously improve the Business Ethics & Compliance program in France.
• Actively contribute to fostering a Speak Up culture and ensuring proper governance across all business activities.

Your profile

• You have at least 5–10 years of experience in compliance, legal, or risk management, ideally within the medical device, pharmaceutical, or healthcare industry, and in an international environment.
• You are recognized for your ability to act as a credible and influential business partner, capable of challenging stakeholders while maintaining a pragmatic, solution-driven approach.
• You demonstrate strong risk assessment capabilities, sound judgment, and the ability to navigate complex and sensitive situations, including investigations and business-critical decisions.
• You are comfortable working closely with Sales and operational teams, with a strong ability to translate compliance requirements into clear, actionable, and business-relevant guidance.
• You have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, enabling you to influence stakeholders, drive change, and foster engagement across the organization.
• You combine high integrity, learning agility, and a hands-on mindset, with strong organizational and prioritization skills in a demanding environment.
• A strong interest in technology, data, and AI applied to compliance is a plus.
• You are fluent in English, both written and spoken.
