We are currently seeking a Speech & Language Therapist to join our Customer Care Team.
About the role
The Clinical Support Specialist will be primarily responsible for the support and education of patients, caregivers and clinicians with Atos products and services in Direct Care. The post holder will work with the hospital clinician in collaboration with Atos Clinical Educators and Territory Sales Managers to assess, facilitate and coordinate patient care routines and product usage to increase patient quality of life. The Clinical Support Specialist will develop and implement individualised care plans in collaboration with the patient or patient’s support network to address the patient’s specific product needs to reach mutually established goals.
In addition to providing high quality support to our patients, the Clinical Support Specialist will contribute to the training of our wider Customer Care team, ensuring they maintain a sound knowledge of our customers’ needs and are skilled in meeting these. You will also be on hand to address any troubleshooting required during our patient interactions.
We offer hybrid working so you will have the flexibility to work at home as well as in out head office.
Your Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality support, education and information for people with a laryngectomy or tracheostomy
- Develop and implement an individualised plan in collaboration with the patient, caregiver and clinician to address the patients’ needs and goals
- Provide education and training to the wider Customer Care team on both products and conditions
- Work collaboratively with our field-based clinical and sales teams to grow our service
- Contribute to the overall business strategy by provision of outstanding customer care and product matching
About you
- Qualified SLT with at least 5 years’ experience in Laryngectomy and Tracheostomy patient care
- Experience of delivering education and support to patients with complex care needs
- Excellent communication skills and ability to deliver complex and technical information to patients in an accessible way
- Highly organised and efficient
- Excellent understanding of IT systems/packages
- Positive and can-do attitude even when times are tough
- Understanding/experience of home delivery, prescription or DAC services (desirable)
- Understanding/experience of commercial healthcare services (desirable)
