Head & Neck Nurse – Field Based (South & South West England)

Full-Time | 12–month Fixed Term Contract | CQC Registered Service

About the Role

As a Head & Neck Nurse, you’ll deliver high-quality, patient-centred care within the community across the South and South-West of England. Reporting directly to the Senior Lead Nurse, you’ll work autonomously while collaborating closely with NHS clinicians, colleagues, and wider teams across the business.

You’ll use your clinical expertise to support patients in using laryngectomy and tracheostomy products safely and confidently, helping them regain independence and enhance their quality of life.

What You’ll Do

• Deliver patient-focused care in the community.
• Educate and support patients in the safe use of laryngectomy and tracheostomy products.
• Collaborate with NHS clinicians and internal teams to ensure the highest standards of care.
• Promote independence and quality of life for patients following laryngectomy or tracheostomy procedures.
• Contribute to service development, audits, and new models of care.

What We’re Looking For

• Active NMC registration with at least 3 years’ nursing experience.
• Background in acute or community care (ENT/ITU/HDU experience preferred).
• Clinical expertise in laryngectomy and tracheostomy care.
• Confident in recognising and managing airway emergencies.
• Strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Organised, autonomous, and able to manage multiple priorities.
• Positive, proactive, and motivated to continuously improve patient care.
