About the Role: 

Atos Medical is seeking a dynamic Project Manager with a strong background in software applications or embedded systems to lead the development of an innovative digital software solution.  

As the Project Manager, you will oversee the entire project lifecycle, from initial concept through to successful delivery. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including software developers, designers, quality assurance, and medical professionals, ensuring that all project goals are met on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. 

Responsibilities: 

• Plan and lead product development projects from concept to launch 
• Inspire and coach the cross-functional team to deliver (including, for example, engineering, digital teams, external partners, etc.) 
• Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation 
• Identify and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies, implementing effective mitigation strategies 
• Communicate project status, progress, and risks to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment 
• Foster a collaborative and team-oriented environment 

The role is placed in our production site in Hörby, with flexibility to work from home as well as from the office in Hyllie a few days per week.  

About You: 

We are looking for a passionate and driven leader with a strong technical background in embedded systems or software development who has transitioned into project management over the past five years. As the lead Project Manager in technical projects, you will be adept at balancing user-centric innovation with the drive to deliver high-impact solutions that truly improve peoples lives. 
 

You have strong leadership and communication skills and are comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve shared goals. You are able to manage multiple tasks at once, prioritize effectively, and maintain a focus on both the big picture and the details to ensure successful project delivery. 

Qualifications: 

• A Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field – or equivalent work experience
• 5+ years of project management experience, including successful collaboration with external partners to achieve shared objectives 
• Experience in product development for embedded systems or software applications, with experience in software development cycles, embedded systems design, development and testing 
• English (Fluent) – main communication language 
• Experience in the medical device industry is a plus 
• Other languages are also a plus
