Senior Operational Excellence Manager

Position Summary

The Senior Operational Excellence Manager will be responsible for building and driving a company-wide operational excellence framework to improve process efficiency, standardization, problem solving, and cross-functional execution. This role will serve as a key change agent across all business and support functions, identifying process gaps, leading structured improvement initiatives, and embedding a culture of continuous improvement.

This is a high-impact individual contributor role, reporting directly to the Commercial Excellence Director, with a broad mandate to support process optimization, standardization, and lean management across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a company-wide operational excellence framework, with a strong focus on standardization, process optimization, and continuous improvement.
• Identify process inefficiencies, root causes, and improvement opportunities across business and support functions.
• Lead cross-functional improvement initiatives from problem identification to solution design, implementation, and tracking of results.
• Establish standard processes, tools, and governance mechanisms to ensure consistency and scalability across the organization.
• Drive lean thinking and structured problem-solving practices to improve operational efficiency and reduce waste.
• Work closely with leaders and key stakeholders across commercial, supply chain, finance, HR, IT, and other functions to secure alignment and execution.
• Monitor project progress, ensure timely delivery, and escalate risks and barriers when needed.
• Track and report impact metrics, including process standardization, efficiency gains, cost savings, and on-time project delivery.
• Act as a trusted advisor and internal consultant on operational excellence topics, helping teams translate business needs into practical execution plans.
• Support a culture of accountability, fact-based decision-making, and continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Business, Engineering, Operations, or a related field.
• Strong experience in operational excellence, business process improvement, lean management, or similar fields.
• Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional process improvement initiatives in a complex matrix organization.
• Strong problem-solving capability, with the ability to structure ambiguous issues and drive practical solutions.
• Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and deliver measurable results without direct people management.
• Strong communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in medtech, healthcare, or other regulated industries.
• Exposure to DBS, Danaher Business System, Lean, Six Sigma, or similar operating systems.
• Experience in driving standardization and process governance across multiple functions or geographies.
• Strong data analysis and performance tracking capability.
