Material Planner

We are looking for a results-oriented Material Planner in our Supply Chain Team located in Tatabánya at Coloplast PDC to provide professional planning support to our global and logistic processes.

You will be collaborating with several departments and suppliers to maintain continuous workflows in our production sites. As a Material Planner, you have to ensure optimized inventory levels and you will be also in charge of supplier database. These tasks require a precise work habit and a well-structured way of thinking. With these skills you will be able to support your team in the decision-making which focuses on maintaining a stable supply chain management at Coloplast.

In your new role your primary tasks will be:

• direct material planning and purchasing based on corporate contracts, in both PO and VMI logic (BOM)
• keep daily contact with suppliers, production planners, QA, corporate procurement, etc in order to ensure the right material flow in our production site
• maintain local supplier database and data for material planning (obsolete, excess)
• Change Request management related to BOM material changes
• daily checking of shortage of materials list and settlement of express deliveries
• checking open orders late shipments with suppliers
• optimize inventories, follow up the coming shipments create order forecasts, maintain VMI settings 

Requirements which you should have:

• University degree
• Good verbal and written English knowledge (C1)
• Experienced user of Microsoft Office
• Min 3 years in material planning/purchasing/procurement area
• Analytical thinking
• Proactive and flexible mindset
• Good negotiation skills and be a good team player
