CM Supplier Planning Specialist

We have a  new position in our Supply Chain Support Department located in Tatabánya/Coloplast PDC.

Our new colleague, the CM Supplier Planning Specialist will be member of our Customer Service Team.

A key responsibility for the CM Supplier Planning specialist is to lead the forecast and capacity management process towards important external Contract Manufacturing suppliers and ensure that actions and decisions are made to secure the required capacity in order to secure a stable supply and inflows of CM items to Coloplast locations. The role is to strongly support the CM Planner’s job in order to ensure a stable operation level supply.

Our colleagues work in 2 Teams of our Supply Chain Support: Customer Service and Shipping.

10 experienced colleagues deal with Customer Service cases and CM supplies, and 11 colleauges of the Shipping Team are responsible for managing most of the European transports and transactions.

 Our new position will directly be reporting to our Customer Service Manager. 

Some travel days are expected both locally or outside Hungary also. 
 

Your new job

The role is mainly a tactical role where the long term activities and actions are important to act upon in order to ensure the growing demand in Coloplast, however the profile should be able to interact with both internal and external stakeholders and support commercial supply chain in case of crisis situations. As a Supplier Planning specialist it is key to have a solid business and supply chain understanding as it is required that the right profile works with a full chain perspective in all processes, e.g. when evaluating risks and deciding on mitigating actions.

 

Your primary tasks are to:

  • Responsible of CM suppliers are meeting the corporate supplier performance target
  • Lead and ensure that volume forecast, covering a 2-year horizon, is communicated in a timely manner to externals suppliers.
  • Participate in Supplier Business Review (SBR’s) meetings. The supplier planning specialist has the responsibility to drive the supply chain and risk management agenda towards the external suppliers
  • Responsible for proactive internal escalation (to defined forum) in case of supply disturbances.
  • Create presentation and data reporting for internal stakeholder communications/updates
  • Participate in SVS projects when impacting suppliers within defined area of responsibility, drive and address capacity related discussions in close cooperation with corporate procurement.
  • Participate and support in crisis projects when impacting supplier within defined area of responsibility.
  • Contractual work, supporting Corp. Procurement as input provider to supply agreement in the supplier contract
  • Ad hoc support on volume forecast requests, on CM suppliers outside defined area of responsibility.
  • Responsible for developing concepts and implementing new processes within own area of responsibility
  • Always look for continuous improvements within the supplier network to further optimize the logistics flow to reduce material lead time from Supplier and improve business
  • Act as the voice of supplier internally in Coloplast
  • Interact with Marketing and Forecast team to understand drivers of demand changes
  • Develop strong business relationships with both internal and external stakeholders

Your qualifications:

  • Supply Chain/Planning experience and knowledge is a requirement
  • As a minimum holds a bachelor’s degree
  • Strong communication skill
  • Can critically challenge solutions, processes and people
  • Has a global mindset, i.e. understands the benefits of global standards vs. local customizations
  • Persistent with a structured approach
  • Service minded with a good sense of humour
  • Good in creation of reporting and strong presentation skill
  • Outgoing and comfortable in engaging with many different stakeholders
