About the department
You will become part of our Digital Technology team, which is part of Digital, Data & IT. Here, you will gain 7 colleagues who are technically responsible for both new development and ongoing maintenance of the Coloplast customer-facing websites, mobile apps and Azure cloud services. Our goal is to create solutions that make life easier for our end-users by using the latest in technology to supply superior customer experiences using data, connected products and services. A lot of our teamwork is online, as we’re based in Denmark, Hungary and Poland. We quite enjoy being a bit geeky – in a wonderful way with quirky humor and a great atmosphere.
About the job
In this role, you will bridge the gap between software development and IT operations, supporting the development and operation of our digital solutions. Your responsibilities will include daily operations and maintenance of Azure cloud solutions, as well as managing CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps. You will play a key role in driving the ambitious cloud solutions roadmap for Digital Technology.
Your responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to automate the management of IT resources in Azure DevOps.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines in close collaboration with development teams.
- Monitor and ensure the performance, security, and cost optimization of our cloud solutions.
- Support development teams with code releases and deployments.
- Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of high-availability, scalable, and secure cloud solutions in Microsoft Azure.
- Mentor and guide DevOps team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.
- Drive automation initiatives for monitoring, testing, deployment, and QA processes using tools like Azure DevOps.
- Implement best practices for log analytics, performance monitoring, and governance models to meet security, compliance, and regulatory standards.
- Evaluate and adopt new technologies, frameworks, and tools to improve operational efficiency and innovation.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in software development or IT operations with expertise in Azure cloud services.
- Proven experience in DevOps practices, including CI/CD, Git version control, IaC (e.g., ARM templates), and Azure DevOps pipelines.
- Hands-on experience with SCRUM/Agile development methodologies, particularly the SAFe Framework.
- Familiarity with test automation, QA processes, and DevOps practices
- Broad knowledge of release & deployment processes, performance monitoring, and cost optimization.
- Microsoft Azure certifications, such as Azure DevOps Engineer Expert or Azure Administrator Associate or similar
- Experience in software development within the medical technology industry is a plus
- Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes
- Fluent in spoken and written English
