About the department
Global IT Operations and Support Team consist of Network, Security, Support and Application Operations and is an integral part of the Digital, Data & IT (DD&IT) organization. We support our colleagues worldwide, helping them make the best technology decisions. From phone and computer support to major business development projects, we do it all. We are One DDIT, no matter where we are in the world
About the job
The key responsibility for the position is to coordinate activities and communications between the Global IT Operations and Support Teams and the relevant country IT responsible’ to ensure aligned delivery of services and initiatives without disrupting the daily business operations.
Your responsibilities
Manage implementation of standard Support & Operation services and initiatives globally implementing delivery governance models and stakeholder communications including:
• Site relocations/Site decommissioning and establishment of new offices in line with defined framework (IT Track lead role)
• Delivery of Technical lifecycle projects
• Delivery of new technology
• Implementation of changes in Global delivery models
In addition:
• Implement changes in global delivery models to align with organizational strategies.
• Establish and maintain delivery governance models and clear communication with stakeholders.
• Being Responsible for all user facing communication related to all IT Operations and Support deliveries
• Reviewing ITSM statistics to establish potential problem areas and lead problem management initiatives across the Global IT Support and Operations teams in alignment with the business.
Requirements
• Certified or knowledgeable within ITIL foundation
• Experience in international environment
• Track of record in delivering IT Operation and Support
• A high level of English
• Good knowledge of IT Server and network infrastructure, IT Operation and Support services, IT governance and core IT processes
Competences
• Self-managed with the ability to work under minimal supervision
• Confident in approaching and addressing issues to the line of business with a commitment to provide continuous service improvements
• Good understanding of the complexity and dependencies within an international IT environment
• Have a professional and open-minded approach when collaborating with people at all levels within the organisation
