About the job
IT Transition Manager needs to ensure that the IT service hand over is of an adequate quality and supported by a proper level of documentation.
In this role you are expected to Support the Change, Release and Transition processes, securing IT services that are transitioned from project/development to operations, as well as the retirement of systems and services, in a structured manner ensuring security, compliance, stability and availability.
The position is located in Poland (Warsaw or Szczecin), directly reporting to the Head of IT Service in Denmark, and working on a daily basis with an international IT team.
Your responsibilities
- Set and lead the drive of the IT Service transition activities in support of Project Managers or Business Units
- Providing transition support needed, to ensure the quality is at a level where Operations and Support are ready to operate the new IT Service (i.e., Solution)
- Facilitate and organize Transition Scope meetings providing service transition guidance and reviewing the quality of transition deliverables
- Ensure that Project Managers are aware of IT Operations and Global Support requirements
- Review and approve IT Transition documentation
- Run IT Transition Trainings, ensuring stakeholders are confident with the principles, processes, and deliverables, preparing training packages, user guides and training sessions
- Ensure that documentation is placed correctly according to the relevant IT procedures in the Documentation management system
- First point of contact for own team members locally, ensure that team related issues are escalated to the line manager
Requirements
- Min. 2 years of practical experience within the IT Service Transition management area in a large, international context
- Leads with confidence and can approach most organizational levels, take responsibility, and make decision
- Has the ability to inspire, motivate and develop highly skilled individuals and teams across borders and cultures
- ITIL V3 intermediate (Service Transition)
- Service Management tool including IT Transition related workflows
- Experience working with the traditional Waterfall approach, Agile projects, SAFe and/or SCRUM is an advantage
- Very good English skills, spoken and written
- Project management knowledge/experience is an advantage
- Travelling and flexibility to work towards defined DK office hours (due to area of responsibility and management interaction, availability outside DK office hours may be required)
