About the department 

The Global Operations & Support area within Digital, Data & IT organization is responsible for all IT in Coloplast – across sites and functions. We support our colleagues and cooperate with them on how to make the best technology decisions. In Global IT Support, we take care of everything from supporting phones and computers to engaging into large business development projects for all parts of the Coloplast organization. We work as One IT – no matter where we are located, we seek to contribute with the right competences at the right time.   

 

About the job 

You will join a group of fantastic people who work 24/7/365 and monitor, troubleshoot and solve alerts coming from IT infrastructure. 

The Team also acts as technical IT Support and handles all kinds of computers, mobile devices and IT system issues for Coloplast users (~16 000) and at the same time delivers on-site Support to approx. 850 Colleagues in Szczecin, Poland. 

 

Your responsibilities 

  • Acting as 1st and 2nd line of technical IT support 
  • Handling of security incidents 
  • Monitoring, troubleshooting and solving, if possible, all alerts coming from Coloplast IT Infrastructure 
  • Providing internal technical support in English to our employees globally 
  • Ensuring all calls and emails are logged accurately within the ticket system and escalated to the relevant 2nd or 3rd line technical teams 
  • Handling incidents and requests with a high degree of professionalism and a high level of quality in close collaboration with other technical teams 
  • Acting as point of contact when Major Incidents occur 
  • Ensuring business continuity 
  • Delivering high quality support and solutions in compliance with agreed SLAs, KPIs and processes 
  • Proactive knowledge sharing with other team members  

 

Requirements  

  • Ability to work on 3 shifts 24/7 (6:00–14:00; 14:00–22.00; 22:00–6:00) 
  • High knowledge and experience in IT is a must 
  • Good knowledge of security in IT (incl. security assessment and reporting), nice to have knowledge about Microsoft Defender, Entra ID 
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server platforms including Active Directory and Azure Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Printing, File and storage, SCOM 
  • Good knowledge of virtual machines (VMware and Citrix environment) 
  • Knowledge of Network Basics (LAN/WLAN/WAN), nice to have knowledge of monitoring tools like SolarWinds 
  • Good knowledge of computer hardware, software and IT equipment 
  • Microsoft business client applications knowledge: Windows OS, Office 365 
  • Knowledge of mobile platforms e.g. iPhones, iPads 
  • Readiness to make decisions and to take responsibility and actions 
  • Fluent spoken and written English 
  • Ability to operate in dynamic situations and successfully handle multiple priorities  
  • Knowledge or experience in IT processes (ITIL/Prince2)
