About the department
The Global Payments Team is part of Global Accounts Payable Team, solely responsible for managing and executing end-to-end payment operations for over 40 legal entities across multiple regions, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and regulatory compliance.

About the role
Global Payments Manager will be responsible for the Global Payments Team (11 FTE)  located in CPBC, Poland and global AP processes for over 40 entities. The role carries full accountability for people management, strategic planning, day-to-day operations, and the development and implementation of efficient, compliant, and increasingly automated finance processes.
This position acts as the global process owner for Accounts Payable and Payments, serving as the primary point of contact for Business Support and key finance stakeholders. The Global Payments Manager ensures operational excellence, strong controls, and compliance with IFRS and local statutory requirements while driving continuous improvement and transformation initiatives across the AP function.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop the Global Payments team, with a strong focus on people leadership, engagement, capability building and creating a high‑performing, ownership‑driven team environment.
  • Take overall responsibility for the management of global Payments and Accounts Payable activities, ensuring stable operations, high quality delivery and compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Act as a senior finance partner for global stakeholders, working closely with Business Support, Treasury, Group Reporting & Controlling, IT, Global Tax & Compliance and Procurement to ensure strong collaboration and alignment.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities for standardization, optimization and automation, and translating them into concrete improvement actions and projects.
  • Lead and support global finance projects, transitions and operating model changes, ensuring effective implementation, clear communication and stakeholder engagement.
  • Ensure strong governance and controls within the Payments and AP area, including active participation in internal reviews and external audits.
  • Oversee reporting and year‑end close activities related to Payments and Accounts Payable, ensuring accuracy, transparency and timely delivery in close cooperation with finance teams.

 Requirements

  • Strong finance competencies, experience in Treasury and/or Payments
  • Solid experience in project management and finance transitions  
  • Natural leadership skills, ability and passion to motivate and manage people
  • At least 3-5 years’ experience in leading people
  • Business experience from an international organization working across borders
  • Strong experience in efficiency implementation (includes digitalization and automation)
  • Strategic business understanding
  • Communication and interpersonal skills
