The MDM & Quality Solutions Department is part of the Business Support Solutions area within the Global IT organization.
We are striving to support Coloplast business by developing and maintaining applications that makes day to day life easier for Coloplast employees so they can focus on serving our customers.
About the job
We are searching for an Application Specialist that can help us with application maintenance, configurations, and general support task of our Veeva and Trackwise Applications where we manage Coloplast global quality and compliance processes.
A part of the assignment will be project based and will require a level of programming experience (eg.: JavaScript, Python, VBA) and advanced Excel skills. If you have experience with data migration it will be a plus.
It is the ideal position if you want to work with a combination of programming, application configuration, process development, requirements analysis, and system architecture.
As an Application Specialist, you take part in IT implementation projects as well as regular support assignments.
Daily tasks include also the following:
• Screen, evaluate and handle change requests
• Ensure that documentation requirements are met
• Prioritize the different development requests and challenge the business on their needs, beginning by creating minimum viable solutions
• Translate business needs into technical solutions and configure these solutions together with the team
• Collaborate with software vendors, discussing technical matters, assigning tasks/deadlines and ensuring the quality of deliveries and compliance with our procedures and standards
Requirements:
• You are experienced with JavaScript and have a programming mindset
• You have a solid understanding of IT and architecture
• You speak and write English on a professional level
• You have advanced excel skills and experience with data migration projects (will be an advantage)
• Relevant background within IT
• Experience with Veeva Vault and/ or Trackwise application will be an advantage
• Experience with cloud-based systems, knowledge on APIs, message requests via HTTP protocol
• Minimum 2 years working with application configuration
• Experience with Active Directory
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office products, Excel super user level, including macros, VBA
• Experience in an international organization, i.e., with working cross border teams
• Preferably experience with configuration and IT validation activities
• Experience with functional support for GxP critical system in the life science industry
• Ability to travel (internationally) up to 20 days a year
