Application Specialist (Automation)

As automation is even bigger part of life for Coloplast we aim to accommodate for the coming future. For that we are looking for a colleague to join our Business Process Automation team. 

 

As Application Specialist in BPA team, your main responsibility is development of business-critical solutions, manage the entire process of building applications, from the design process, to creating, testing, and rolling out the application. 
You will be also responsible for applying correct configuration to the managed application accordingly to business needs and manage the service level using existing documentation or workaround following ITIL standards in supported applications area. 
As part of your job is to provide support within to the users globally and manage suppliers.

 

What you will be responsible for:
•           You will be responsible for developing solutions based on requirements on available platforms (DocuSign, Power Platform, Nintex, RPA)
•           You will be case handler of incidents (2nd level) and requests relating to relevant applications
•           You will be evaluating statistics and suggesting proactive mitigations for repetitive incidents
•           You will be responsible for contacting external suppliers of supported applications 
•           You will be responsible for assigned personal objectives
•           You will seek knowledge and keep track on the groups standards and policies
•           You will establish and maintain relevant documentation
•           You will provide specifications (FRS) for new solutions development
•           You will create test scripts and conduct system testing when system changes have been implemented
•           You will work closely with the Business Owners on new initiatives with innovative solutions and maintain good professional relations with relevant stakeholders 
•           You will participate in global IT project activities matching your competence level
•           You will be responsible to assess and propose best approach to licensing of supported applications through close cooperation with vendors

 

What we expect:
•           Master or bachelor’s degree in IT or similar
•           Minimum 2 years working with application configuration
•           Fluent spoken and written English
•           Experience working in an international environment
•           Experience with Active Directory
•           Experience in supporting clients directly 
•           Advanced supported applications knowledge
•           Intermediate SQL query knowledge        
•           Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office products
•           Web development elements knowledge (HTML, CSS, RWD)
•           Basic understanding of programming principles (ex. languages used JavaScript, DAX, Python, C#)
