About the Department


The Global Operations & Support area within Digital, Data & IT organization is responsible for all IT in Coloplast – across sites and functions. We support our colleagues and cooperate with them on how to make the best technology decisions. In Global IT Support, we provide technical support of all approved systems and devices including involvement into large business development projects for all parts of the Coloplast organization. We work as One IT – no matter where we are located, we seek to contribute with the right competences at the right time.     
  

About the Team

 
You will join a group of fantastic people who act as technical IT Support and handle all kind of computer, mobile device and IT system issues for all Coloplast users globally and at the same time deliver on-site support to our colleagues locally in San Pedro, office. We search for a new team member, who enjoys solving IT issues and fulfilling our Colleagues’ requests.  

 

About the job

 

You'll be the first point of contact for technical assistance within the organization. Your role is crucial in ensuring that our staff experiences minimal downtime and receives prompt support for their IT needs. This position offers a fantastic opportunity to develop your technical skills and grow within the company. 

 

Key Responsibilities: 

 

  • Providing IT support in English to our employees globally - via phone, email, or in-person 

  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, and network issues 

  • Install, configure, and maintain software computer systems and applications 

  • Document technical issues and solutions in the ticketing system 

  • Collaborating with IT specialists on projects and complex problem-solving 

  • Maintain an inventory of IT equipment 

  • Deliver high-quality support and solutions, following agreed SLAs and processes 

  • Create and update technical documentation while proactively sharing knowledge with the team 

  • Take ownership of each incident and request to ensure the best customer experience 

  

Requirements:

 

  • 2+ years of experience as IT Supporter or some related area 

  • Knowledge about IT systems in general (Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Citrix, iOS)  

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail 

  • Solid knowledge of computer hardware and IT equipment 

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English 

  • High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in Information Technology or related field is a plus 

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team 

  • Capability to learn and adapt to new technologies 

  • Experience on international environment  

  • Willingness to work on shifts 6:00 – 15:00/ 7:00 – 16:00 (Monday – Friday)  

  • Ability to work from the San Pedro, San Jose office at least 3 days per week (depending on Onsite local task needed) 

  • Ambitious and proactive
