Regional Compliance Officer – shape the compliance landscape of International Markets

Group Business Ethics & Data Privacy Compliance – one unified global team
Joining us at our office in Sao Paulo – you will become part of Group Business Ethics & Data Privacy Compliance, which is responsible for business ethics, compliance, and data privacy across Coloplast. The team is divided into 4 regions: Greater China and JAKS, North America, International Markets, and Europe – each responsible for providing guidance on compliance regionally and locally.
The overall team, which is spread across various locations, is comprised of 27 Business Ethics & Compliance professionals who work closely together to foster a team dynamic that is globally oriented – thus ensuring cohesion in our approach to compliance and ethics.

Take responsibility for International Markets
You will be responsible for the International Markets and continue the development and implementation of our business ethics and compliance program. Furthermore, you will be carving out your own position, defining the best strategies and tactics that resonate with the distinct dynamics of several unique markets.
You will serve as an advisor to compliance representatives operating at the regional level, navigating through the unique challenges posed by markets in their developmental phase. To achieve this, you will work closely with the Global Business Ethics, Compliance & Data Privacy team. You will also guide regional senior management, country managers, and business support managers on business ethics, compliance, and data privacy risks.
More specifically, you will:
- Join the Group Business Ethics, Compliance & Data Privacy leadership team responsible for our Compliance transformation
- Manage strategic interactions with executive leadership and other senior leaders, as well as external stakeholders
- Provide strategic and tactical support to both the regional organisation and Global Operations
- Handle compliance and data protection issues
- Develop, implement, and oversee Coloplast’s Third-Party Program
- Play an active role in the advancement of our global compliance function
Experience with business ethics compliance
You are an accomplished professional who knows how to sway opinions, convey messages, and foster connections among a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders. More importantly, you thrive in a role that is still taking shape.
Your commercial understanding enables you to assume responsibility with confidence. Moreover, you excel at networking, and with your great interpersonal and intercultural skills, you easily navigate the complexity of being responsible for a region with many different cultures.
Also, we expect you to:
- Bring a master’s degree in commercial law and business administration, law or other relevant background
- Have 10+ years of experience with business ethics compliance
- Have experience interacting with senior management and acting as a business partner
- Have worked in global roles, supporting business activities remotely
- Have people management experience
- Speak and write English effortlessly
- Be able to convey complex information and processes in a clear, concise, and compelling manner
