Regional Business Leader – North
Location: Merseyside, Manchester, Cumbria, Lancashire, Cheshire, North Wales, Yorkshire, North East
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Regional Business Leader to join our team. This pivotal role focuses on driving business growth through all commercial opportunities, delivering both revenue and profit returns. As a crucial management and customer-facing position, you will be responsible for the operational and strategic management of the north region.
The Role -
In this role, you will set the strategic direction and P&L for the region to maintain growth and achieve targets. You will have full autonomy for creating, executing, and delivering results via the regional business plan. Identifying key trends within the NHS, you will proactively drive business, partnership, and joint working opportunities that will grow the business and benefit the NHS and patients. You will develop and maintain relationships with KOLs, procurement, and business leads within Trusts and ICB’s. Utilising insights and business intelligence, you will enhance our value proposition to the NHS in collaboration with the local Strategic Partnership Manager, Coloplast Nursing Team, and regional sales teams.
You will manage, motivate, and develop high-performing regional sales teams, driving formulary discussions, negotiations, and tender processes in conjunction with the Strategic Sales Team. Working closely with Marketing, you will execute national campaigns and create local adaptations that will deliver business growth. You will monitor regional business performance against Sales and Marketing objectives, communicating critical issues and proposed solutions to the Senior Leadership team. Additionally, you will develop and execute plans for key accounts within your region, working closely with team members and customers to win new, large accounts. As part of the People Cycle, you will lead performance conversations and engagement action plans. You will also contribute to the National strategy as an active member of the Chronic Care Sales Leadership team and develop national business area strategy in collaboration with the divisional leadership team.

Who Are We Looking For?
We are looking for a commercially astute sales professional with a proven track record in delivering results. You should be a strategic thinker with a capacity for creative problem-solving and possess a strong and decisive leadership style. You should be achievement-oriented, energetic, enthusiastic, and self-motivated. Tenacity, passion, ambition, and a willingness to challenge the status quo are crucial. You should be a highly influential individual with excellent selling, negotiation, and networking skills.
You will have a strong understanding of the NHS landscape and its impact on local healthcare delivery. You should be an effective coach capable of inspiring and driving performance in others, with experience in P&L management and exceptional business planning skills. Demonstrable key account management experience, advanced influencing and negotiation skills, and strong analytical skills with the ability to turn data into insight are required. Experience in writing and delivering sales and marketing messages, as well as strong product and clinical knowledge, is essential. Desirable qualifications include business or commercial qualifications, experience working with Trusts/ICBs/Health Boards, experience working with the NHS, and marketing experience.
