Logistics Controller (Fixed Term Maternity Cover)

Reporting into the Logistics Admin Manager, the Logistics Controller will deliver superior customer service and team performance, measured through order fulfilment, order quality, productivity and cost savings.


Essential Duties

  • Dealing with stock query requests from all business areas and makes BOM amendments as required.
  • Monitoring and taking appropriate action to requests received into the Logistics group mailbox.
  • Communicating with internal colleagues and external customers and suppliers.
  • Placing orders of non-Coloplast stock with third party suppliers.
  • Analysing reports to identify trends and takes actions.
  • Quality improvements – handles supplier claims for missing items and initiates Root Cause analysis to implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborating with customers to take ownership of issues between UK DC (i.e. Samples / Home Packs etc.) and other business areas (Marketing / Trade etc.).
  • Creating export documentation for Dangerous Goods.
  • Provides resolution of all PO queries with Coloplast Finance.
  • Maintaining accurate information on E1 inventory management system.

  • Essential - Excellent oral / written communication & numeracy skills
  • Essential - Demonstrated capability in the use of Microsoft Office (Excel / Word / PowerPoint)
  • Essential - Proven planning and organizing skills, with high attention to detail
  • Desirable - experience with Inventory Management systems
  • Desirable - Working knowledge and experience of distribution processes and procedures
