The role

This role has national travel, overnight stays and some European travel to our HQ in Denmark as required and falls under our hybrid working policy allowing for flexibility to work both from home and our head office in Peterborough.


Reporting to the Head of Marketing Continence Care this is an exciting opportunity to join our organisation in a role that will be responsible for identifying opportunities to provide best in class education for healthcare professionals working in continence care across bladder and bowel management.  


You will lead, define and drive education to support the strategic growth drivers of the continence portfolio in the UK and provide a strong voice in global health care professional education strategy. You will be part of a wider team of 10 talented individuals.


Key Responsibilities include:

  • Identifies opportunities to provide gold standard education for HCPs in bladder and bowel care and for devising plans to capture those opportunities.
  • Defines and implements Coloplast Professional Continence Care strategy for the UK in line with growth drivers
  • Develops strategically relevant, targeted content across multimedia delivery channels (face to face, online and offline)
  • Stakeholder relationship management with Continence Care KOLs for strategic Projects and business development in collaboration with relevant internal stakeholders
  • Identifies future pipeline of thought leaders in Continence Care and opportunities to develop partnerships
  • Accountable for ensuring Coloplast Professional Website is relevant, up to date and uses key performance metrics to monitor engagement
  • Working with the internal Events teams and Marketing / Sales partners identifies external education opportunities, in line with strategy, shaping the agenda and identifying faculty. Supports the execution of the event.
  • Inputting into business planning and works closely with Global Education Team to influence and shape global strategy and secure resources to be successful with key initiatives in the UK market.
  • Design, conduct and support HCPs with presentations, posters, clinical articles or symposia at medical meetings.
  • Provide education expertise in the product launches and implementation programs and support any field request to support business.
  • Within Continence, manage clinical data resources, assisting development of sales tools and materials to optimise use of clinical studies and documentation, including use of health economic data.
  • In close cooperation with Global Marketing and Global RD, facilitate HCP Education expertise for Coloplast UK in relation to marketing plans and business plans.
  • In this role you will get exposure to the Leadership team in the UK.  This is a strategic role where you will develop plans, engage others and lead stakeholders and experts to deliver on these plans.  This is a role for someone that enjoys this level of exposure, stakeholder engagement and leadership.


To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Diploma or Degree in Healthcare, Health sciences, or Marketing with equivalent therapy area experience
  • Clear understanding of the UK health care system
  • Experience in executing successful clinical teaching events
  • Experience in KOL management
  • Strong project management skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent stakeholder management
  • Ability to self-manage your work
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Full UK Driving Licence


Preferred attributes

  • Experience within Urology and Bowel Management
  • Proven success in HCP education, and/or events management in Continence Care with a healthcare professional focus
