What we are looking for

We are looking for an experienced Continence Nurse with relevant clinical skills who has the passion, drive and commitment to develop and deliver bladder and bowel care on behalf of Coloplast to our health care professionals and end-users in Western Australia. 

 

You will be self-motivated, comfortable working as an independent practitioner and have a winning mindset. You will be a strategic thinker who also wants to build on your commercial awareness and skill.

In this role although you will work independently you will be a part of a wider professional Nursing team who are proud to offer high level of care to our clients.

 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Deliver professional and ethical care to Coloplast end-users experiencing bladder and/ or bowel dysfunction, urinary and / or faecal incontinence as well as people requiring health funding support in a face-to-face or virtual clinic setting
  • Disseminate novel clinical evidence of bladder and bowel care to support and promote new and existing products/services through interactions with Key opinion leaders and patient organisations
  • Plan, facilitate and evaluate the delivery of continence education modules within hospitals and community rehab care facilities
  • Interact directly with patient organisations in Spinal Cord Injury, Spina Bifida, Multiple Sclerosis and specialty areas to educate, and promote new product /therapy solutions through the delivery of clinical evidence
  • Establish and nurture industry networks and relationships to expand market awareness of Coloplast’s clinical services
  • Monitor client usage and effectiveness, make recommendations for optimisation and influence client stakeholders to achieve beneficial outcomes
  • Maintain clinical records in accordance with Company, Legal and Professional requirements

 

Essential Qualifications

  • 5+ years’ experience in a clinical setting working with patients and/or end users
  • Current Registration with AHPRA
  • Specialist knowledge in bowel and bladder care (formal qualification desirable), or willingness to participate in additional external training 
  • Experience facilitating education sessions within a clinical environment
  • Experience conducting Telehealth or Virtual Health appointments
  • Previous medical industry experience preferred
  • Some domestic and international travel required
