The Role
Provide leadership to the zonal sales team in driving business results aligned to the KPIs as well as provide strategic direction and guidance to the team in line with organization objectives. Also responsible for recruiting, coaching, developing and managing the zonal sales team.
Areas of Accountability

Set SMART objectives for the team and evaluates performance to drive continuous development

Dealer and Distribution Management and ensures 100% compliance

Provide timely coaching to RSMs and sales force to maximize effectiveness and is open and honest with feedback to develop the team further

Develop Account Specific Action Plans together with the RSMs and sales team for their respective high priority accounts

Drive the RSMs to ensure that the sales team follows pre-defined call plan based on Segmentation and Targeting and review activity to ensure appropriate coverage of key accounts

Drive the RSMs for execution of portfolio and pricing strategy as defined by the organization

Act as liaison between the team and other functions in the organization in order to ensure appropriate problem solving and support as needed

Take responsibility to drive tenders and create appropriate environment and support for the same

Provide the organization with key market insights in a timely manner feeding into better business decisions

Ensure that the zone maintains transparency and all transactions are compliant with Coloplast code of conduct at all the times

Promote a culture that reflects the company’s values, encourages high performance, and fairly rewards results of the team
Education & Experience
-
15 – 20 years of work experience in Sales
-
10+ years of work experience leading teams spread across a large region
-
Graduate with Master’s in Business Management
Preferred Qualifications
-
Graduate with a degree in Pharmacy
-
MBA (Sales & Marketing)
-
Work experience with a multinational medical device organization

Should be passionate about taking ownership and delivering on commitments

Ability to identify, analyze and solve problems with minimal direction and make decisions with confidence

Demonstrated results in executing strategic plans, and actions to achieve the company´s objectives
