Compounder/Sanitizer - 3rd Shift (11:00pm-7:30am)

Manufacture all the Coloplast Skin Care products.  Clean, sanitize and operate Skin Care compounding equipment and complete necessary paperwork and inspections per cGMP requirements to fulfill customer expectations.

 

This position controls variable cost by accurately weighing and compounding product and cleaning/sanitizing equipment per work instructions.

 

Major Areas of Accountability:

  • Clean and sanitize equipment used in the process of Manufacturing and Packaging per the procedures described in the cGMP’s, and required FDA regulations.
  • Complete cleaning and sanitization documentation, by ensuring all manufacturing equipment is cleaned and sanitized
  •  as required by Coloplast procedures.
  • Accurately weigh and compound product per work instructions.                                          
  • Capable of setting up, operating and perform needed adjustments for all the equipment in the Compounding Area.
  • Understand, follow, and accurately complete process documentation in compliance with cGMPs and ISO standards.
  • Gather, stage and organize raw materials needed for the daily production runs using inventory management system while adhering to schedule expectations.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on the equipment as required
  • Basic knowledge and understanding of continuous improvement.       
  • Ensure timely and proper transfer of the compounded product to the Packaging Department.

Essential Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum 1 year experience in manufacturing environment
  • Basic understanding of inventory management systems.
  • The ability to follow written and verbal work instructions in English.
  • Able to lift minimum 25 pounds on a regular basis, 50 pounds periodically
  • Must be able to push/pull over 50 pounds
  • Must be able to stand, kneel or squat for extended periods of time
  • Must be able to climb ladders, work at elevated heights, reach over shoulder level, and operate power/hand tools

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 6+ months experience in bulk manufacturing or sanitization role
