Job Function Summary

Coloplast has a new opportunity available for a Sr. Talent Acquisition Partner to join our growing team at our Minneapolis headquarters. 

 

This highly visible individual contributor role is responsible for full life-cycle recruiting for Coloplast North America, and our wholly-owned subsidiary Comfort Medical. The end to end recruiting process includes facilitating hiring manager meetings, developing recruitment strategies, sourcing and interviewing candidates, and converting final candidates to the offer and acceptance stage. As a first face of Coloplast, you will serve as an “ambassador” of our company, ensuring a great candidate experience and helping to enhance our employer brand in the marketplace. 

 

Major Areas of Accountability

  • Develop and lead the execution of a recruitment strategy for all assigned requisitions, including specialized recruitment within our Interventional Urology teams. Specific responsibilities would include:
    • Build relationships with key stakeholders across various specialized functional areas including R&D, Medical Affairs, Quality Assurance, Regulatory Affairs, Operations, Supply Chain, and more.
    • Work with stakeholders to understand the key competencies required for each position
    • Review resumes of direct applicants and continuously update the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) throughout the recruiting process
    • Conduct phone interviews with candidates and provide guidance to hiring managers on moving candidates through the process
    • Source candidates via LinkedIn Recruiter to bring more qualified talent into the mix.
    • Collaborate with colleagues in Talent Acquisition, and across the organization, to manage the logistical aspects of the hiring process
    • Ensure the collection of interview feedback in the ATS

 

  • Ability to flex and support other business units and functional areas, as needed, to balance workload across the team
  • Work with HR Managers and the hiring leader to generate and deliver candidate offers.
  • Make recommendations to hiring leaders on when to engage with external recruiting partners and manage those partners effectively.
  • Provide status updates on open positions to the TA team, HR partners and management as needed.
  • Ensure that all filled positions are closed out in the system in a timely manner, and that candidates are dispositioned and informed of the hiring decision in a timely manner.
  • Ensure adherence to all federal, state, and local regulations governing the employment process.
  • In collaboration with team, help maintaining partnerships with local universities related to our campus recruiting efforts.
  • Participate in various global TA/HR projects, including the collection of recruitment data that will be used to drive continuous improvements in our processes. 
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in a Recruiting (Talent Acquisition) function, either as a Corporate Recruiter or within a professional staffing firm
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, HR, or related field
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • Advanced candidate sourcing skills
  • Project Management experience and an organized approach in managing a variety of requisitions at a local and national level
  • Willing and able to work closely with global colleagues to advance Talent Acquisition priorities
  • Strong general business acumen and understanding of the driving factors that impact organizational decision-making
  • Intermediate-level experience in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to travel minimally as business needs require

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience using LinkedIn Recruiter
  • Agency recruiting experience
  • Experience with SuccessFactors
  • Experience recruiting in the Medical Device industry and/or positions within R&D, Regulatory Affairs, Medical Affairs, Quality Assurance, etc.
