Senior Financial Analyst 

Coloplast has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Financial Analyst to join our growing team.

 

You will be the trusted business advisor and consolidation lead for the growing direct-to-consumer business within Coloplast. Beyond supporting the financial operations of this business, this Analyst will be involved in strategy and analysis around future strategies to expand the direct to consumer business. This role will have both routine financial closes as well as commercial and strategic projects.

 

Major Areas of Accountability

  • Consolidate analysis of monthly key performance indicators and metrics for business units within the US
  • Assist the local analysts to prepare monthly financial statements
  • Analyze and interpret financial data for trends, budget/forecast versus actual, etc.
  • Assist in creating and updating KPI’s for the finance area and the company as a whole
  • Report and explain the drivers of the direct-to-consumer business with local and corporate leaders
  • Work closely with the North America leadership team on strategic initiatives
  • Perform the analysis and support for initiatives as well as track performance of initiatives once implemented
  • Communicate strategic initiatives with local finance team, act as the financial liaison between North America leadership and local financial resources
  • Trusted business advisor and financial resource for strategic projects related to the direct-to-consumer business
  • Ability to learn and adapt PowerPoint skills to company specific formats

 

Basic Qualifications

  • Finance or Accounting degree
  • 5+ years of business analysis and financial reporting/planning is required
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills required
  • Strong PowerPoint skills required
  • Organized and detail oriented
  • Strong communication skills
  • Experience with leadership
  • Mergers and Acquisition experience preferred
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty independently
  • A team player who is a practitioner with excellent experience working closely with division and finance personnel
  • Creative and decisive problem-solving skills along with an inclusive team orientation. 
  • Must have a strong ability to understand how business operates in real world and display strong customer focus
  • A high impact individual who is comfortable working with strong executive management
  • A self-motivated and high energy individual that thrives in an environment characterized by growth, change and opportunity, and has the potential to grow beyond the current role.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Power point; Cognos knowledge helpful but not required
  • Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines a must
