Senior Financial Analyst

This is a hybrid position based in Minneapolis, MN. Tuesday and Thursday in-office requirement.

 

The Senior Financial Analyst will be the trusted partner and advisor for businesses within Chronic Care North America. This role is responsible for forecasting, reporting and delivering strong financial analytics to business leadership. 

Major Areas of Accountability 

  • Lead the full P&L forecasting process for the US business  

  • In partnership with sales, create a monthly, quarterly and annual forecast for the US business 

  • Report on key performance indicators weekly 

  • Ability to incorporate various factors into revenue and margin forecasts 

  • Monitor and forecast customer growth and manage large incentive and fee accruals   

  • Analyze and interpret financial data for trends, and perform variance analysis versus plan 

  • Provide detailed financial guidance for sales team execution 

  • Present and lead discussions regarding the forecast and performance to forecast 

  • Prepare and distribute monthly reporting package to the senior leadership team 

  • Set business area targets and drive meaningful discussion to ensure targets are met 

  • Partner with the distribution centers to track month, quarter and year end results 

  • Partner with marketing and logistics to manage volume forecast accuracy 

  • Participate in strategic growth projects and other ad hoc projects as needed 

Basic Qualifications 

  • Finance or Accounting degree required

  • 5 years of financial planning, demonstrating career progression and business analysis 

  • Strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills required 

  • Organized and detail oriented 

  • Strong communicator with a challenger mindset 

  • Experience developing models and analytical tools 

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities 

  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential task independently 

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, characterized by growth and change, and prioritize deliverables to meet deadlines 

  • Creative and decisive problem-solving skills

  • Prior experience working in cross-functional teams preferred 

  • Ability to understand how business operates in the real world and display strong customer focus 

  • A high impact individual who is comfortable working with strong executive leaders 

  • Cognos knowledge helpful
