Project Coordinator

  • This role supports Facilities projects across Coloplast’s Region NA. The project coordinator will monitor daily progress of assigned projects, ensuring adherence to schedule, cost, and stakeholder expectations. The project coordinator will source service contractors as assigned and will be the point of contact between service providers and the project team.

 

  • The project coordinator will additionally support property management in tracking administrative requirements of active leases. Duties include notifying stakeholders when actions are required regarding renewals and terminations, and ensuring routine obligations are fulfilled.

 

Major Areas of Accountability

  • Project coordination
    • Monitor daily progress of assigned Facilities projects
    • Track and report schedule and costs
    • Notify project team of discrepancies from defined expectations
    • Schedule, coordinate, and lead project status meetings
    • Issue project status reports on a weekly basis
    • Coordinate facility moves, temporary and permanent relocations of personnel and equipment
    • Source service contractors as assigned
    • Assist in procuring FF&E, tracking delivery through project completion
    • Ensure stakeholder satisfaction post-project completion by offering continued support
    • Communicate between assigned service providers and project team
    • Review and submit invoices

 

  • Property Management
    • Maintains database of leased properties
    • Notifies stakeholders of upcoming renewals, terminations, and routine obligations
    • Prepares and submits renewal notifications from provided templates
    • Retrieves and submits insurance documentation as required by leases
    • Initiates landlord-engaged service requests, as assigned
    • Generates and communicates a monthly property status update

Basic Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience supporting facilities or construction projects -OR- 2+ years of experience in commercial property management
  • Associate’s degree
  • Technical acumen to source and effectively communicate with contractors and tradesmen
  • Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Organizational skills sufficient to contribute to multiple concurrent projects
  • Ability to productively interact with internal stakeholders at all levels

Preferred Qualifications

  • Capital project experience, as a project engineer or project manager
  • Experience managing properties within a commercial real estate brokerage
  • Degree within fields of business, engineering, or real estate management
