The US Commercial Excellence Manager is responsible for establishing, leading and driving best in class commercial insight and performance management aligned with our ambitious growth strategy.

 

This leader is responsible for the efficient processing and delivery of accurate business intelligence to all levels of the organization for North America Chronic Care. This role leads the team and organization in performance management and data analytics for the US Chronic Care organizations driving to actionable insights operational leaders can execute to improve performance. This position must ensure that the team develops a detailed understanding of the industry and the business, including financial, operational, and strategic processes, as well as external market intelligence.

Major Areas of Accountability

  • Acts closely with sales and marketing management to ensure a best-in-class level of commercial and analytical support in alignment with strategic and tactical initiatives
  • Delivers timely and accurate performance data, and works closely with stakeholders to tailor the deliverables to changing business needs
  • Drives development and execution of sales force efficiency projects, e.g. territory resizing, route planning, call quality, customer segmentation and targeting. Participates in other strategic projects when appropriate, e.g. pricing excellence
  • Manages and seeks to constantly improve the monthly performance management processes and dashboards in the organization, from local sales to global leadership
  • Create, analyze, and develop action plans for key performance indicators
  • Conceives and leads key strategic projects to understand and improve our commercial performance
  • Maintain a strategic relationship with internal stakeholders, develop a deeper understanding of their business and goals, and suggest new ideas
  • Develops market intelligence strategy and process for the organization
  • The manager is responsible for leading the recruitment, hiring, training, and developing of a talented team individuals

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 3+ years experience in business intelligence, controlling (financial), consulting industry or equivalent
  • Experience with sales force management and CRM systems
  • Ability to translate commercial strategy into practical, diligent execution mode
  • Strong business acumen (including financial modeling and business case building) and good understanding of costs & sales drivers, supported by a solid analytical toolbox and strongly data-driven orientation
  • Project management experience, including balancing several simultaneous initiatives, delegating work to team members, and coordinating deliverables from diverse, dispersed stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to make effective decisions independently and to challenge the status quo and create best practices
  • Impactful communication and relationship management skills within an international, executive context
  • Proficiency in MS Office software, PowerBI and/or other data processing and visualization experience

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's of Business Administration
  • Experience leading a dedicated team
  • Medical or Pharmaceutical Industry experience

  • Competitive Compensation: The compensation range for this position is $106,000 - $135,000. Actual compensation is influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to skills, experience, qualifications, and geographic location. Hired candidates may be eligible to receive additional compensation in the form of bonuses and/or incentives.
