Job Function Summary

 

The Manager of Business Transformation is responsible for establishing, leading, and driving technology and process improvements in Business Support. This leader will be a part of the Business Support leadership team and supporting the North America Chronic and Wound Skin business areas.

 

This new role will drive an environment of continuous improvement by coordinating and collaborating with peers, IT, and business leaders to identify areas of efficiency in technology solutions, automation, workflow, and process for Business Support. Near terms projects include owning Customer Data Management, furthering EDI capabilities, and advancing sales data reporting process from a lagging process to an in month process. Long term projects will be influenced by the business needs as well as inputs from the Business Transformation Manager.  This role will be part of the business while working with IT to implement initiatives.

 

Major Areas of Accountability

  • Use project management skills to prioritize initiatives, build project roadmaps, identify capacity needs and dependencies, and execute project plans
  • Work with other business leaders to build project requirements ensuring the proposed solution will meet business needs
  • Drive the rollout of changes via communication, trainings, and other follow up required to ensure success
  • Proactively evaluate and recommend transformation and continuous improvement work based on expertise, then provide a recommendation to business leaders to agree on project prioritization
  • Manage, mitigate and escalate project risks as appropriate
  • Communicate updates with senior leaders and relevant stakeholders
  • Have a strong understanding of technology and software to propose technology solutions
  • People manager for at least 1 FTE in support of Customer Data Management process

 

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree; Master's of Business Administration preferred
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in project management or IT roles
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously
  • Confidence and the ability to establish new processes while leading a team through change
  • Excellent organization, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Self-starter and able to work in environment with minimal direction
  • Maintains a high level of confidentiality at all times.
  • Capable of taking on and solving complex problems
  • Confidence in communicating with all levels of the organization
