Associate Manager, Social Media and New Channels

Job Summary:


The Associate Manager of Social Media will take on a key role in the Coloplast Chronic Care organization.  The role will work cross-functionally with the business units to develop, curate, and execute social media content across platforms.  This role will utilize analysis and insights to optimize our social media strategies to drive customer retention and new customer acquisition.


Major Areas of Accountability:


  • Support development of social media strategies across platforms to drive consumer retention and new consumer acquisition.
  • Execute content across social media platforms by developing calendar of content releases.
  • Oversee and communicate with the company’s followers, respond to queries in a timely manner, and monitor consumer reviews with a high level of excellence.
  • Analyze engagement dates, identify trends in customer interactions, and plan digital campaigns to build community online.
  • Recommend content development based on past campaign insights and community engagement
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing leads, marketing communications and media teams.
  • Drive emerging platform that creates breakthrough conversations about our brands and products to drive consumer retention and new consumer acquisition, including but not limited to:
    • Support the social media efforts for the overall patient association & ambassador & influencer program
    • Explore opportunity and build Coloplast presence in new, emerging social media channels
    • Providing guidance to the broader organization for content excellence aimed at delivering against the social media strategy
  • Understand all the elements and steps needed to create great social content, while following any established best practices.
  • Stay up to date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools, and applications and how they can be used in accordance with our overarching marketing strategy.
  • Following guidelines for the tone, style and voice of all brand content and champion its implementation across all channels.
  • Evaluate, present, and improve internal processes to support strategic planning and implementation.






  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, media/ journalism, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience working in social media, communications, marketing, or other job experience equivalent
  • Exceptional communication and relationship building skills
  • Positive, team-oriented attitude
  • Ability to prioritize work and manage multiple projects at one time
  • Possess a thorough current understanding and passion for social media
  • Excited to explore innovation opportunities aligned to the business objective
  • High attention to detail; highly organized
  • Self-starter with the attitude of “test and learn”; energy and passion to always explore new opportunities and ideas
  • Experience with the creation and curation of digital content across a wide spectrum of digital channels
  • Strong writing, proofing, and editing skills, within digitally focused environments
