To pursue our ambitious growth strategy, we are looking for a Wound and Skin Care Technology Scouting Manager. In this exciting role, you will be responsible for monitoring competitor technology, identifying and evaluating trends and emerging technologies in start-ups, large companies, or universities, and thereby contributing to the pipeline of future innovations.

You will join a Wound and Skin Care Pipeline Management team that is specialized in bringing innovation projects to market. As our Wound & Skin Care Technology Scouting Manager, you will:

  • Identify and evaluate clinical and technology trends relevant to Coloplast Wound and Skin Care
  • Monitor and assess competitor technologies, ensuring our position as a frontrunner in the industry
  • Gather customer insights to support the development of new product- and services
  • Establish Wound and Skin Care clinical and technology external networks, across key geographies
  • Work closely with industry experts, key opinion leaders, and healthcare professionals to facilitate workshops, evaluate ideas, and validate breakthrough concepts
  • Provide technological support to cross-functional development teams, with a focus on new technology assessment and technical evaluation
  • Foster knowledge sharing and cultivate relationships within Coloplast research & development, legal, regulatory, and clinical teams
  • Travel 10-20 days a year, attending conferences and building relationship with industry experts, Key Opinion Leaders, customers, and local market stakeholders, enriching your global perspective

You are fluent in written and spoken English - Danish language skills are not requireddevelopment in medical devices.

 

  • You have 5+ years of relevant experience and thorough understanding of the bio-chemical and clinical aspects of wound healing
  • You have an imaginative personality and a strong medical device technological background that enable you to monitor and evaluate new products, concepts and opportunities
  • You have experience with FDA- and EU Medical Device- Regulations
  • You are a relationship builder and understand the value of cross-disciplinary networking
