Join the Coating, Polymer Chemistry & Formulation department
At our HQ in Humlebæk, you become part of the Materials area where 40 colleagues are divided into expert departments dedicated to different material areas. You will be joining the Coating, Polymer Chemistry & Formulation department, which consists of 10 scientists. 

 

Together, we welcome you to a project-based environment where we work cross-functionally with other specialists and project managers across the organisation. Formulation work and material development 
As one of our polymer chemists, you will create formulations and help develop materials for our products. 

Doing so, you will work as a subject matter expert on various projects alongside project managers, laboratory technicians, product designers and other specialists as part of cross-functional teams. The projects may vary in size and scope and are typically related to material development for catheter, ostomy, bowel, or wound care products.

 

More specifically, you will: 

  • Formulate recipes within foam, coating and adhesive 
  • Work on polymer material development 
  • Select material to be tested to determine if it meets requirements
  • Document material properties and performance

 

Moreover, this is an area in constant development, and in time, you could be offered the opportunity to branch out to other tasks and areas within your field of expertise. Acquiring new knowledge and diving into new research is always encouraged.  

 

Background in chemistry and polymer
You have a broad background in chemistry and a thirst for knowledge. Moreover, you are a true team player who shares knowledge eagerly with peers and colleagues alike. Also, you are known for your initiative as well as your ability to plan and  organise your work efficiently.

 

We also imagine that you:

  • Have a degree in polymer chemistry, chemical engineering or similar
  • Have solid hands-on experience with polymer chemistry, organics chemistry, applied material science or similar
  • Speak and write English effortlessly
  • Ideally, you also:
  • Know about the recyclability and sustainability of polymers 
  • Have experience with medical documentation and product development
