Metrology Senior Specialist – set the direction for our calibration

Your role is essential for our ability to deliver reliable test results and high-quality products that makes life easier for end-users with intimate health care needs all over the world.

Join us in shaping our competence centre
At our HQ in Humlebæk, you will join the EHS & Metrology team, which is an integral part of the Test & Characterisation organisation within R&D. The Test & Characterisation organisation leads the design, documentation, and execution of our test strategies.
In the EHS & Metrology team, we have consolidated our calibrations skills and effort in one team, building a competence centre within Metrology and Calibration. 

 

We are 10 dedicated employees, who lead the qualification, validation, maintenance and calibration of all our test equipment used for developing tests and product documentation.

You will be our one-point of contact for the calibration and maintenance process of all our laboratory equipment in R&D and you will be working closely with our others metrology and calibration specialists.


You will be essential in ensuring the process related to service and calibration as you:

  • Handle the contact with our external suppliers regarding calibration and service of test equipment
  • Carry our supplier interviews, as we review our suppliers on a yearly basis
  • Negotiate new and existing suppliers and maintenance contracts
  • Planning and coordination of the yearly calibration flow with our external suppliers (Masterplan)
  • Handle deviations in our NC system as local NC QA approver and handle CAPA actions in our system as local calibration specialist
  • Enable knowledge sharing and training of our colleagues across the R&D organisation 
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that the relevant documentation is in compliance with the Coloplast guidelines and external standards
  • Acting as subject matter expert in the calibration process 

 

A structured specialist with quality experience and technical know-how

Your strong sense of structure and detail will be important as well as being thorough and accurate when working with many different deadlines. Moreover, your good communication and collaboration skills allow you to spread your knowledge and train your colleagues with ease.

 

Finally, we imagine that you:

  • Hold a technical degree e.g. B. Sc. in engineering or a similar education 
  • Have 3-5 years of experience from a similar role, e.g. by working with the calibration of test equipment 
  • Experience with Audits, GMP, documentation, and compliance
  • Experience with contract review and supplier negotiation
  • Have good technical know-how in terms of processes, systems and IT
  • Are fluent in English, and it is an advantage if you also speak Danish
