That is why we are looking for a strong Senior IM Business Manager who will play a vital role in securing success.

So, would you like to take on a highly influential role, managing and ensuring superior delivery performance from one or more of our key European injection moulding suppliers?

 

Join Injection Moulding Operations 
At our HQ in Humlebæk, Denmark, you will work alongside 4 IM Business managers, 1 IM commissioning manager. We are part of the Injection Moulding (IM) department, consisting of 25 enthusiastic and committed employees. Together, we provide timely, cost-efficient, and stable deliverables of injection-moulded parts of the right quality. These parts will subsequently be used to make our high-quality catheters and ostomy bag

In IM, we work with development projects and ensure that the daily operations performed by our IM suppliers run smoothly. Some suppliers are based in Denmark, others in Europe, and this will take you travelling 10-20 days a year.

 

Ensure the right delivery performance 
As our new Senior IM Business manager, you will step into a versatile role. Collaborating with both our IM suppliers, internal IM colleagues and colleagues from our supplier team (i.e., people from our Supply Chain, Quality Department, Corporate Procurement, and international production sites), you:

  • Ensure that our IM suppliers deliver parts at the right time and of the agreed costs and quality.
  • Lead task groups, optimizing the tool/machine set-up and our deliveries and in this regard drive new processes, structures, and communication initiatives with both suppliers and internally in IM/Coloplast 
  • Ensure sufficient long-term tool and machine capacity and availability at our IM suppliers
  • Arrange and partake in meetings with your team/department, supplier team and IM suppliers.
  • Proactively challenge cost levels and follow up on daily operation expenditures.

 

Experienced resource with great stakeholder management skills

  • You have extensive experience (+5 years) with supplier, production, and project management or similar.
  • You have a good understanding of cost management - and if have kowledge within injection moulding it will be an advantage, but it is not a prerequisite.
  • You know how to carry out indirect leadership e.g., by setting the direction for colleagues and suppliers involved in your projects.
  • You speak and write English effortlessly.
  • You have 5+ years of experience within supply chain, production, procurement, or similar processes.
  • You thrive in an environment with a high degree of autonomy.

 

As you will manage your own supplier, it is essential that you have an organized approach to your work and the ability to keep momentum going. Your interpersonal skills help you to build relationships and collaborate effortlessly with internal and external partners. And just as important, you are all set to develop your talent and happy to become part of an environment where things change all the time. You will be going from one challenge to the next with an unwavering belief that the road to outstanding results is shorter when it is fun; knowing and excited that it involves collaboration across functions and cultures.
