Senior Director for Global Marketing

Joining our Global Marketing department, you will define and lead the marketing plan for our continence care products – therefore making a noticeable difference for our users worldwide.

Welcome to Global Marketing
You will join our Global Marketing leadership team of 3 Senior Directors and 2 Head-of. You will report to and work closely with the VP for Chronic Care Marketing. Joining us at our HQ in Humlebæk, Denmark, you will be working with a sense of purpose as we believe in empowering our leaders to lead. Here, you will have the opportunity to set the standards of how good marketing is done within our business area.


Engage with health care professionals and consumers – and make our brand come to life
As our new senior director, you will leading the Continence Care team, strong of  8 marketing professionals. Continence care is one of our largest business and a significant growth contributor to the company. Coloplast is market leader with the SpeediCath brand, and we have an exciting pipeline of innovation that you’ll need to take to market. 


Together, we define marketing initiatives that make our continence brand a continuous success and communicate messages that resonates with our consumers.  Your responsibility is to create an energising vision that unifies our global marketing approach and lead new product launch plans that deliver the value of our attractive pipeline. And of course: taking care of your team as you set a clear and engaging direction while ensuring that they are flourishing.


Moreover, you will:


  • Establish global brand strategies that support the continence brand and business’ growth ambition
  • Create and implement marketing campaigns towards health care professionals as well as lead direct-to-consumer campaigns 
  • Collaborate with key global functions such as commercial operations, country managers, etc. to create synergy and impact
  • Participate in meetings both nationally as well as in Europe, the US and China – you can expect to travel 25% of the time once the world opens up again and it is safe to do so

Experienced leader with consumer marketing insight
With solid leadership skills and an extensive knowledge of direct-to-consumer marketing, you are a natural collaborator who can create a vision – and make it come to life across all channels. As a person, you have an open mind, and you think outside the box as your innovative ideas and inputs are key to creating excellent marketing initiatives and reaching our goals.


We furthermore imagine that you:


  • Have a master’s degree within marketing or communication
  • Have 5-10 years’ experience from a similar role at a sales subsidiary and/or HQ – preferably from a health care company or the personal health care industry
  • Preferably have an international background – it is a plus
  • Speak and write English effortlessly and have excellent communication skills
  • Can demonstrate leadership skills and are able to develop and maintain relations with different stakeholders across functions and levels
