Senior Director EM Distributor Markets

Reporting to the VP of IMEAD (India, Middle East, Africa, Turkey and Distributor Markets) and as a member of the IMEAD Leadership Team (IMEADLT), you will play a key role in developing and executing on the commercial priorities in Coloplast’s approximately 30 distributor markets across Eastern and South-Eastern Europe, North Africa and Asia. This is one of the most vibrant and diverse sales regions with long-term business partners and newly established markets with high growth expectations. The job is to ensure we solidify and further accelerate our strong growth track record and develop our sales and operations team.

 

You need to have a well-developed business acumen, solid analytical skills, be able to effectively engage across cultures and lead a team of highly skilled commercial and operational specialists based across offices in Denmark, Poland and Turkey. You have a proven P&L owner track record of delivering growth in a Healthcare company, and you know how to drive business results, develop the business, manage teams and engage with distributor customers to lead them to high performance. Being competent both tactically and strategically you understand how to balance short versus long term priorities. You know how to instill a sense of accountability in your team, you are passionate about ensuring a lasting leadership impact, and you build effective partnerships across all stakeholder groups.

 

Work location is Coloplast HQ in Humlebæk, Denmark and you should expect up to 30 travel days in a year.

 

Responsibilities 
Your main responsibility is to ensure continuous growth in the region by: 

  • Leading the development of and executing a solid growth strategy including investment initiatives development, planning and execution through our distribution partners.
  • Direct P&L ownership of the Distributor Markets with about 30 markets, and ownership of the Distributor excellence agenda with Distributor Operations team and responsible for the annual distributor meeting 
  • Leading the EM Distributor Markets team based in Humlebæk, Poland, and Turkey, as well as team members employed locally with our partners. Ensuring the team is characterized by high performance, engagement and strong collaboration towards stakeholders across the region.

  • Exceptional business acumen, analytical skills and in-depth knowledge of distributor management, entrepreneurial and strong strategic thinking yet execution focused.
  • Strong leadership capabilities and ability to role-model Coloplast’s Leadership Promise
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Achievement-oriented with a balanced focus on reaching short-term targets while also developing the business for the long-term via investment initiatives and distributor development.
  • Experience we are looking for:
  • Education on master’s level or equivalent within e.g. business management

 

Leadership experience

  • 7+ year of experience from commercial roles in the Healthcare sector across geographical and commercially diverse countries
  • Experience from being part of a senior management team or experience interacting closely with senior business leaders 
  • Ability and ambition to travel 
  • Fluency in English, additional languages from the region a benefit
