Join a highly specialised team within adhesive and sensor technologies
At our HQ in Humlebæk, you will join a team of 10 colleagues highly specialised in adhesive and sensor technologies. We are one of 3 departments in the Materials area, ensuring the development and selection of material solutions for our products and packaging within Continence Care, Ostomy Care, Bowel Care, and Wound & Skin Care.

Focus on adhesive development in cross-organisational projects
As our new Senior Adhesive Scientist, you will develop adhesive formulations for our products. 
Doing so, you will work as a subject matter expert on various projects alongside project managers, laboratory technicians, product designers and other specialists as part of cross-functional teams. 
Your work might also include collaboration with universities and other external partners.

 

The projects may vary in size and scope and are typically related to adhesive development for ostomy care or wound care products.

 

Among other things, you will:

  • Formulate recipes within pressure-sensitive adhesives
  • Identify new relevant polymer materials to investigate
  • Do material characterisation such as rheology and other relevant methods
  • Document material properties and performance

A scientific background and hands-on experience
You thrive when you get to do what you do best – intensively utilising your expert knowledge and spending your time with your head in the game. 

 

Furthermore, we imagine that you:

  • Have either a PhD or a master’s degree, most likely within polymer chemistry, but it could also be within e.g. material technology or organic chemistry 
  • Have solid hands-on experience with polymer chemistry 
  • Have experience with relevant material characterisation methods
  • Understand the importance of documentation when working in a regulated industry
  • Speak and write English effortlessly

 

Ideally, you also:

  • Know about the recyclability and sustainability of polymers 
  • Have experience with ISO 13485 and medical documentation 
  • Have experience with pressure-sensitive adhesives
