Be part of shaping a new area 
Your new team is Market Development in the Payers & Evidence area, rooted in our Innovation division and located at our headquarters in Humlebæk, Denmark. We are a small and agile team of 5 skilled colleagues with diverse backgrounds, and we work with a variety of projects, all with the aim to improve the overall access to medical supplies for our end users. We do this by reviewing and analyzing reimbursement categories, to identify new opportunities. In addition, we investigate opportunities in new indications and segments in the markets.
 
Drive long-term projects forward
As our new Market Access manager, you will assist our subsidiaries in building compelling value argumentation and market development strategies. Specifically, you and the team will open new or improve existing reimbursement categories in our markets and drive change towards higher standards of care by influencing clinical guidelines or overcoming other access barriers. 

 

Our long-running projects (1-3 years) are at times dormant due to the processing time for recommendations in our markets or the need to develop new evidence. Therefore, you will most likely always be working on multiple projects simultaneously, and being able to juggle these will be a key skill.

 

Developing a profound insight into local health care and reimbursement systems, you will more specifically be working with:

  • Providing strategic input to both clinical and health economic evidence design 
  • Supporting our subsidiaries in local reimbursement and market access activities
  • Creating evidence to support the use of e.g. catheters or other product categories
  • Creating budget impact models for the authorities to follow recommendations to e.g. use catheters for a new patient group
  • Leading and conducting meetings with colleagues in local markets, e.g. Brazil or the US

Project management skills, commercial mindset and evidence development experience
With a scientific understanding, you thrive translating evidence into compelling value argumentation, knowing that taking on this role in Coloplast means helping a group of people who rely on our products to increase their quality of life. 

 

As a project manager, you are comfortable working with a variety of projects across functions and divisions, and you are good at driving and maintaining progress in longer running projects. You can establish strong relations with stakeholders, and you might have experience with working with key opinion leaders, payers and patient organizations. 

 

We furthermore imagine that you:

  • Have a master’s degree in life sciences, health economics, public health or a related field
  • Have at least 2-3 years’ experience, preferably from working with market access, evidence as well as reimbursement systems
  • Are a great communicator with the ability to convey economics and value argumentation to people outside your field
  • Have a commercial mindset combined with strong numeric skills
  • Are eager to build your knowledge base and get more insights into the world of health economics and market access
  • Are ready for a flexible workday with meetings potentially early or late in the day due to time difference – travel activity is also to be expected in some cases
