Junior Assistant in Performance Management, Commercial Finance

In this role, you will primarily work in Commercial Finance, where you will quickly gain a comprehensive understanding of the different business areas in Coloplast and get hands-on experience by working with insights, tools, and processes in a commercial perspective.
You will also assist Investor Relations, where you will gain experience in market dynamics and communication with key analysts. This dual exposure not only broadens your financial and business expertise but also provides a unique perspective on how strategic decisions are communicated within a C25-listed company.

 

Join our high performing Performance Management team  
You will primarily join our dynamic and international Performance Management team, consisting of six other young colleagues within our Corporate Finance department. Together, we work in-depth with performance management across the entire organization. You will also assist the Investor Relations team with quarterly and full-year reporting.

 

Responsibility given from day one – expect a steep learning curve

  • You can expect a steep learning curve as you settle into our data-based setup and processes and familiarize with performance management and Investor Relations at Coloplast. Specifically, you will:
  • Update, maintain and develop key financial reports in both Excel and PowerBI
  • Help transform data into relevant insights and analysis
  • Participate in financial projects and investment frameworks
  • Assist Investor Relations with consensus estimates process prior to quarterly and annual reporting 
  • Help build investor materials and assist with tasks on announcement days

 
Can you transform data into valuable insights? 
As a person, you have a strong eye for detail and appreciate the importance of being meticulous. With your investigative mindset and aptitude for logical thinking, you can transform data into insights.

 

Moreover, we imagine that you:

  • Are about to finish, or have recently finished, your Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, IT, engineering or similar 
  • Are structured, comfortable with numbers and analytical in how you solve problems
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint. Experience with PowerBI is a plus but not required 
  • Possess a strong personal drive and an eagerness to learn
  • Speak and write English fluently 
  • Are collaborative, thrive in a team environment but are also able to work independently
  • Have a keen interest in learning how to do business in a global medical technology company 

 

Expected workload of around 10-15 hours per week. The workload is weighted towards the first part of the month, and it is expected that these days are prioritized. There will be some degree of flexibility around placement of hours and workplace.

 

For the right candidate, there is an opportunity to do a Master’s Thesis in collaboration with Coloplast.
