We are excited to introduce a new leadership role, Head of People & Culture North-Central Europe (NCE). This position will play a pivotal role in shaping and strengthening our people agenda across Finland, Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Poland, the Czech Republic, and Slovakia.

 

As a People & Culture Leader, you will provide strategic direction while staying close to the business and the teams on the ground. You will lead and develop a high-performing team of two People & Culture Managers, fostering collaboration, consistency, and local excellence across the region.

Your key responsibilities

  • Business Partner to senior leaders in NCE, like the Vice President NCE, for regional P&C topics such as organizational development, talent management, succession planning, key hires etc.
  • Create, implement and continuously develop a P&C strategy that supports business goals, focuses on employee needs, and ensures compliance with relevant policies and regulations
  • Lead and shape team and leadership development across the NCE organisation, with a strong focus on supporting the VP NCE and the newly formed leadership team. This includes coaching and advising newly appointed country managers to build leadership capability, foster effective team dynamics, and embed a strong People & Culture foundation
  • Leading and developing the NCE P&C team
  • Driving the people agenda for NCE to unleash untapped potentials in talent management and leadership development
  • Be the P&C Business Partner for our Danish and Finnish market to stay close the business, and drive the people cycle in both countries
  • Trusted advisor for NCE country managers in close collaboration with the respective P&C Leads

 

Your profile

  • 5+ years of professional experience in a HR leadership role and 8+ years as HR Business Partner in a commercial business unit, with proven international experience and track record
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with confidence in working with employees, leadership, and employee representatives across countries and cultures
  • Ability to analyze complex situations and develop clear, effective HR strategies, especially in areas like workforce planning and talent acquisition
  • Experience in leadership & talent development
  • Hands-on mentality, detail-orientation, and strong execution focus
  • Fluent in English and Danish, additional languages are a plus

 

In this position you will report into the Senior Director People & Culture Region Europe, Pascal Sandvoß.
