About R&D Performance Management
R&D Performance Management is the trusted financial partner to R&D, combining the responsibilities for cost management with R&D portfolio analysis, business case valuations, forecast models and more. R&D Performance Management is part of Commercial Finance within Corporate Finance.
As a Finance Manager within R&D Performance Management, you will own and develop the financial frameworks used to assess, prioritise and track innovation across the company – combining business-case expertise with strong commercial understanding and a gatekeeping mindset. You will work with investment decisions from day one and have a direct influence on shaping the innovations Coloplast brings to market.
What you will do
• Build and challenge business cases for R&D projects using our valuation model, translating market, pricing and cost assumptions into robust business case assessments
• Lead the financial assessment at each stage gate, ensuring every project is evaluated on a consistent basis
• Develop sales forecast models for new product launches
• Support with Innovation Performance Analysis & Portfolio Overviews
• Help develop our Investment Framework & Governance, including capital budgeting principles
• Partner across R&D, Commercial functions and Global Operations to align assumptions, pressure-test input and support tough prioritisation trade-offs

Additionally, we imagine that you:
• A Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business or a related field
• Are fluent in English
• Bring experience from finance, consulting or a related field
• Can translate complex analysis into clear, decision-ready recommendations for senior stakeholders
• Enjoy developing financial models
• Take interest in R&D, enjoy partnering across functions and challenging assumptions constructively
• Have a strong personal drive and an eagerness to learn
