Commercial Excellence Manager, Distributor Markets

Distributor Markets covers approximately 30 markets across Eastern and South-Eastern Europe, North Africa, and Asia, where Coloplast is represented through distributors. This is one of the most vibrant and diverse sales regions, featuring long-term business partners and newly established markets with high growth expectations. 
  

Impact strategic and commercial topics

In this role, you will report to the Senior Director for Distributor Markets and have the opportunity to impact a broad set of strategic and commercial topics. You will work closely with the Senior Director and regional sales heads to drive the performance and long-term growth of our distributors. 

 

Your main responsibilities include supporting performance and long-term growth in the sales region by: 

  • Driving key commercial projects in major markets and across Distributor Markets overall (e.g., country strategy reviews, product launches). 
  • Leading capability-building initiatives targeted at distributors (e.g., distributor playbook, sales and service excellence approach with distributors). 
  • Running internal performance management processes (e.g., annual strategy process, financial planning and reporting, business reviews). 

 

The work location is at Coloplast’s headquarters in Humlebæk, Denmark, and you should expect 30-50 travel days annually. 

 

Background and experiences 

  • 1-4 years of experience in business development, commercial excellence, commercial finance, or related fields. 
  • Ideally, industry experience in healthcare and medtech. 
  • Ideally, functional experience with B2B or distributor/partner sales models. 
  • Education at the master's level, with strong academic credentials. 

 
Personal characteristics  

  • Self-motivated with a full ownership mindset, from strategy to results. 
  • Structured, analytical, and methodical in problem-solving, solution design, and implementation. 
  • Strategic thinking combined with a hands-on and pragmatic approach. 
  • Excited and willing to be close to the frontline. 
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
