Your role is essential for our ability to deliver reliable test results and high-quality products, that makes life easier for end-users with intimate health care needs all over the world.

Join us in our competence centre within Metrology and Safety
In the EHS & Metrology team, we have consolidated all our calibrations and qualifications skills and effort in one team, building a competence centre within Metrology, Calibration, Qualification, Compliance and Safety.
At our HQ in Humlebæk, you will join the EHS & Metrology team, which is an integral part of the Test & Characterisation organisation within R&D, responsible for test methods and equipment used for production, verification and R&D. 
We are 12 dedicated employees, who lead the qualification, verification, validation, maintenance, calibration of our test equipment, spare parts and reference equipment used for developing tests and product documentation.

You will be our one-point of contact person for the calibration, uncertainty measurement budget and maintenance process of our laboratory equipment in R&D and you will be working closely together with our other Metrology Specialists, Calibration Specialists and Calibration Technicians.

 

You will be essential in ensuring the process related to calibration and service as you:

  • Define requirements to calibration of the measurement equipment and share knowledge and educate our colleagues across the R&D organisation.
  • Approval of internal calibration methods. 
  • Assessment and approval of external calibration techniques & methods.
  • Write & review various internal calibration instructions and procedures to ensure internal compliance.
  • Handling and reviewing metrology related deviations (NC’s) and implement corrective actions.
  • Will be acting as subject matter expert/specialist in the calibration, maintenance and service processes.
  • Investigate, critically evaluate and review out of calibration events for potential trends and perform root cause determination (RCA). 
  • Planning and coordination of the monthly/quarterly/yearly calibration flow with our external suppliers.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that the relevant documentation is following the Coloplast guidelines and external standards.

 

A structured Specialist with quality experience and technical know-how
Your strong sense of structure and detail will be important as well as being thorough and accurate when working with many different deadlines. Moreover, your good communication and collaboration skills allow you to spread your knowledge and train your colleagues with ease.

 

Finally, we imagine that you:

  • Have good technical know-how in terms of processes, systems and IT.
  • That you bring experience within audits, documentation, and compliance.
  • Hold a technical degree e.g. in engineering (BSc or MSc) or a measurement technician education. 
  • Have experience from a similar role, e.g. define requirement for calibration, calibration of test equipment, handling deviation, performing root cause analysis (RCA), calculate uncertainty measurement budget (GUM) or Maximum Permissible Error (MPE). 
  • Accustomed to being in dialogue with suppliers and involved in contract and invoice review and approvals.  
  • Are fluent in English and in Danish both written and verbal.
