Coloplast Distribution GmbH acts as the umbrella organization for the European logistics of Coloplast A/S, a Danish manufacturer of medical products with over 16,000 employees worldwide.
Coloplast develops and distributes products for ostomy, continence and wound care, skin care and urology. In addition, Coloplast offers homecare services in Germany.
We are searching for an experienced EHS Specialist (m/f/x), to support developing, implementing, and improving our QEHS management system. This full-time position, with a weekly working time of 38.5 hours, is part of the global Quality & EHS team, based in our Distribution Centre EDC, Hamburg, reporting directly to the Head of Quality & EHS Distribution.
The Quality & EHS Distribution team plays a key role in standardizing and continuously improving quality, environmental, health, and safety processes across the European Coloplast Distribution Centers, ensuring full alignment with ISO standards and best practices.
Your Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary contact for EHS, supporting both internal and external audits (ISO 45001, ISO 9001, ISO 13485) and driving a stronger safety culture.
- Contribute to network and governance initiatives to enhance and strengthen EHS structures, including responsibility for KPI reporting.
- Develop, deliver, and monitor Quality & EHS training programs, acting as the local process owner.
- Oversee incident review processes with a focus on effective root cause analysis and implementation of corrective measures.
- Lead and support projects in the Quality & EHS domain as well as operational initiatives within the Lifecycle Management of Distribution Centers in the Global Supply Chain.
About You:
- Hold a degree in Economics, Logistics, Engineering, or a related field, with hands-on experience in supporting audits and compliance under international standards such as ISO 45001.
- Demonstrate a structured approach in supporting stakeholders through governance, training, and reporting, alongside managing processes that drive continuous improvement.
- Exhibit a proactive and detail-oriented mindset with a strong background in EHS management systems and proficiency in MS Office.
- Possess excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, enabling effective collaboration and advisory on Quality and EHS matters.
- Show a readiness to take ownership of both strategic projects and operational tasks, with fluency in English (additional languages considered an advantage) and quality experience viewed as a plus.
