Payroll Clerk

Major Areas of Accountability:

 

Responsibilities:

  • Support in the weekly pre-payroll, on-cycle payroll, off-cycle payroll processes.
  • Be risk aware and help identify, report, mitigate and track risks in the payroll delivery process.
  • Support employee/manager queries when the Payroll Specialist don’t be present
  • Maintaining accurate records of payroll documentation and transactions.
  • Supporting for all Coloplast in the monthly payroll process.
  • Managing/supporting electronic timekeeping systems or manually collecting and reviewing timesheets.
  • Providing administrative assistance according to timekeeper to the Payroll Specialist.

 

Other responsibilities:

  • Performing their job in compliance with the guidelines given
  • Drawing attention to the payroll specialist/manager to any difficulties in understanding or following the guidelines
  • Drawing attention to inefficiency of the system

 

Essential Qualifications:

  • Any graduation in business administration, finance, or accounting preferred, specialized in payroll is an advantage.
  • Working knowledge of relevant legal regulations and labour legislation.
  • Experience working with different shifts payments.
  • 2+ years of experience working in a payroll process.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and payroll software programs.
  • Knowledge in Time Keeping Systems (SAP certified) will be a plus.

  • Strong numerical and analytical aptitude and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Good time management and organizational skills.
  • Able to prioritize and multitask effectively.
  • High degree of personal ownership on all areas of own responsibilities.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.
  • High level of integrity.
