Team Manager of Repair and Maintenance

This is your chance to use your experience as leader to engage a team of approx. twenty skilled workers who do repair and maintenance on our volume manufacturing and projects in Coloplast Pilot Plant, Espergærde. 

 

Welcome to our Pilot Plant 
At our Pilot Plant in Espergærde, Denmark, you will play a significant role as a member of the Pilot Plant Mature Manufacturing Leadership Team while also contribute to the strategic work for Pilot Plant by being part of the Extended leadership team of Pilot Plant.

You secure optimal operations and motivate your team.
As our new team manager, you will lead your team of 20 skilled workers who work on both day, evening and night shifts. You will be responsible for ensuring optimal operation of one or more value streams, ie. volume manufacturing and/or projects. You will contribute to improve and optimize our production machines as well as documentation, CE-marking including safety risk assessment.
 
Specifically, you will:

  • Motivate and develop your team and ensure great collaboration, e.g. by being visible on all shifts from time to time.
  • Coordinate resources according to sickness, holiday, etc., creating and aligning operation plans with other team managers at Pilot Plant. 
  • Ensure that repair/maintenance facilities match the demand – both including innovation and quality.  
  • Take part in setting targets for continuous improvement and learning curves in projects
  • Travel activity will be limited, but you may be requested to travel up to 20 days a year, primarily to our production facilities in Hungary.

 

Experience in hygienic, high-quality production
As a manager, you are ambitious on behalf of your team, and you understand complex correlations and find solutions. You know how to foster good collaboration and ensure the space and setting for your team to perform in a busy environment. Also, you thrive working in an ever-changing setting.  Moreover, we imagine that you:

  • Have 3+ years of experience working in a production environment, preferably with medical equipment or within the pharma or the food industry.
  • Have a degree as an engineer or marine engineer.
  • Have a minimum of 2-3 years of leadership experience, managing, developing, and motivating employees.
  • Are fluent in Danish and English
