Team Manager for our Foaming team at the Coloplast Pilot Plant

Do you see nurturing collaboration and bringing people together as an essential part of being a manager?

And would you like to lead a set-up consisting of a great mix of engineering specialists and skilled maintenance workers– all working towards a common goal of creating products that help people with intimate health care needs worldwide?

“You’ll join an environment where we do both development and production, and where there is a good foundation for further development and optimisation. You’ll also be part of a great management team where we work closely together across our teams,” says Lone Munch Ringgaard, Director of Material Processing.

Welcome to our pilot plant and the Foaming team
Based in Mørdrup, you will step into our pilot plant where 240 colleagues are ready to welcome you. We work on the early stages of development projects, mature them, build equipment, and create processes before the projects go into full production at our sites in Hungary, China, and Costa Rica.

Our Material Processing department is part of this set-up, and specifically, you will head up one of the 3 teams in this department: the Foaming team. 4 specialists and 9 skilled workers join forces to produce foam for our wound care business. And they are looking forward to having you on board to take their development even further.

Enable collaboration across levels and teams
Setting the direction for the Foaming team, you will be supporting and participating in frontend innovation activities, our innovation value stream and technology projects. Moreover, you will play an important role in our strategic work for the Pilot Plant and Material Processing in product development and optimisation to ensure that the equipment and processes are suitable for volume production according to current standards.

Thus, you will also take charge of establishing and coordinating the projects that we run as well as be part of the production. Specifically, you will:

  • Support optimisation and development of process technologies within the manufacturing of foam
  • Ensure that environment, health and safety (EHS) matters and initiatives are prioritised and carried out
  • Ensure that your team has received and documented the proper and relevant training for EHS and quality matters
  • Secure development and maintenance of the individuals in your team – and for Material Processing in general – in order to secure that business-critical tasks can be solved now and in near future

“I really like that we all work together towards a common goal. We have a collective ambition and encourage each other to share knowledge, bring in new technologies and share our views to continue getting even better,” explains Lone.

Inspiration, collaboration, and a shared direction
As a person and as manager, you put the welfare of each team member and the development of the team first. Your type of leadership fosters collaboration, and you show the way forward by speaking your mind, understanding the importance of sharing knowledge, ideas, and opinions.

Moreover, you are curious about processes and how to improve them, so we constantly grow as a department across teams. Finally, we imagine that you:

  • Hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in science, engineering or equivalent
  • Have some years of experience in technology development or medical device/pharma production
  • Have several years of experience with people management
  • Are a strong communicator in English and Danish
