Senior Team Manager, QA Lifecycle Laboratory

Location:

Espergærde, DK

Job Family:  Quality Assurance
Country/Region:  Denmark

Imagine if all the new Coloplast products started with… you! It is no exaggeration.

As our new senior team manager, the majority of our future products and processes will start with you and your team, right here at our pilot plan.
If you are ready to start your leadership career, we offer you an interesting role – a hybrid between R&D and global Operations where you will gain full responsibility for our QA lifecycle laboratory in both our running production and development projects.

“This is a chance to work with quality assurance on multiple levels and at different times in a product’s lifecycle. And, of course, to be the gatekeeper ensuring the best products for people with intimate health care needs,” says Nicole Damm Appelby, Head of Pilot QA.

Head up a team of specialists within laboratory work and test methods
At our pilot plant in Mørdrup, you will front our Quality Assurance Lifecycle Lab, where 10 lab technicians and test method specialists are ready to welcome you. It is a hybrid team, working with both development projects, ongoing production and process development by supporting as a partner within QA, QC, Quality setups, test methods and DoE.

”We have a team with a good mix of skills and knowledge. They collaborate really well and are looking to you to be their sounding board and assist in prioritizing their many tasks,” explains Nicole.

Quality assurance at several levels
In this role, you will head up your team, prioritize their tasks and make sure the team continues to develop, enabling them to work at the intersection of development projects and operations.

Specifically, you will:

  • Participate in stand-up meetings in relation to task prioritization, resource allocation and work flow
  • Interact with other team managers at the pilot plant and work with them to create one joint lab landscape across R&D and Operations at the plant
  • Be part of carrying out change control and audit support
  • Be part of our extended Coloplast Quality Management group
  • Be an EHS appointed leader as the leader of a laboratory and be a member of the EHS committee on site

In this hybrid role, you can look forward to working with quality on several levels of a product’s lifecycle, where quality takes different shapes and forms during the entire lifecycle. Along the way, you will build a broad network across the pilot plant and globally, as QA spans many functional areas.

Be the go-to person for Quality
Across R&D and Operations, you need to be the face of Quality and be able to understand the different dynamics and structures – while maintaining a holistic view of quality. Being a good communicator, you have no problem reaching out to colleagues and having the talks about quality at a plant where we know each other across functions.

Finally, we imagine that you:

  • Have a master’s within the STEM field
  • Have a background as e.g. project lead, within QA or as a materials or test specialist
  • Have some operations experience
  • Are interested in management and ready to take the first step in that direction
  • May have MedTech experience
  • Are fluent in English and preferably also Danish
