Adhesive Specialist for Production and Pilot Plant - principal or senior position
Espergærde, DK

Are you ready to utilise your adhesive specialist knowledge at an innovative pilot plant – and play a key role in optimising our production? And doing so, making life better for people with intimate health care needs?
Whether you come from a principal or senior position, or are ready to take that next step, we hope that you are keen to take on a role with responsibility, ensuring that our medical device production runs smoothly.
“You will get to work with a 360-degree view and see your work come to life – from handovers of small-scale adhesives to scaling it up to on-site production, in cooperation with our production in Hungary,” says Lone Munch Ringgaard, Director of Material Processing.
Welcome to our Pilot Plant
Based in Mørdrup, you will step into our Pilot Plant where 240 colleagues work on production and early stages of development projects. You will be part of the Material Processing department and the Adhesive team, where we focus on optimising processes and building/rebuilding equipment before our projects go into full production.
We also produce adhesives for further processing at our production sites in Hungary and Costa Rica and support them with troubleshooting.
“With a flat hierarchy, there is a close collaboration between our technicians, engineers and R&D specialists, making for a dynamic and professionally diverse environment,” Lone says.
Ensure smooth production of high-quality adhesives
As our new specialist, your focus area will be adhesives for skin care in close cooperation with a mechanical specialist, so that you supplement each other in the production and optimisation process. While you will mainly be involved in our production, you will also partake in R&D projects on a regular basis.
More specifically, you will:
- Take the lead on supporting daily production and conduct improvement projects on production equipment and/or materials
- Ensure the quality as well as documentation of deviation and changes according to ISO standards
- Develop and mature pilot processes to ensure robust full-scale manufacturing
- Test and implement process platforms within adhesives in collaboration with the Adhesive design team
- Run tests and perform validations of production equipment and/or materials to ensure high quality
- Continuously share knowledge with our manufacturing sites globally
"One moment, you solve tasks behind your desk, and the next, you have a meeting in the production. And everywhere you go, you will meet colleagues who are excited to brainstorm solutions to new challenges,” Lone continues.
Team player with adhesive or material knowledge and mechanical curiosity
As a key competence, it is absolutely essential that you enjoy teamwork. Furthermore, you master the art of communicating technically challenging information to non-specialists.
Also, you are agile and able to organise and prioritise – and re-prioritise, as the day and plans can change quickly. This also requires an analytical and strategic mindset and a readiness to work with the equipment yourself.
Besides having strong adhesive or material experience, we imagine that you:
- Have a BSc or MSc within chemical or mechanical engineering or equivalent
- Bring 5+ years of proven experience working with medical devices or in a similar regulated industry
- Bring solid experience within R&D/production
- Have 5+ years of proven experience working on complex, technical projects as a specialist
- Know how to develop realistic action plans
